Hydros Engineering specializes in assisting clients with water and wastewater facilities.  From the early planning stages to permitting, engineering, operations and construction of systems.  We specialize working with smaller systems and offer great value and practical solutions. We are based in Colfax, CA and most of our work is located between Tahoe, Sacramento and the Central Valley Region.

We don’t just provide planning and engineering services, we live it.  Our Principals have over 80 years of combined engineering, operations and management experience owning and operating water systems in the Sierra Foothills.  We have certified treatment/distribution system operators, backflow testers/specialists and are a licensed General Engineering A Contractor.  Currently we operate four water treatment plants and associated storage and distribution systems – in all we are responsible for providing a safe and reliable water supply to nearly 5,000 individuals.
